Yearbook

In a room
Everybody's drinking
I'm a prude
That's what everybody's thinking
Time flies when your mind is sinking
Might miss it if your eyes are blinking
Always said that I'd never break my rule
End up like the guys at my school
But I never really knew what it meant
End up like the guys at my school
And I live with my parents
And I'm messy
Walk through the halls and I know I'm obsessing
What do people think of me?
How am I gonna make money?
Funny how we all grow up so suddenly

Sitting on a couch at my friend's house
Everybody else is passed out
How am I gonna get my future mapped out?
I wish I could actually get a map out
But it doesn't work that way
Living in colour and the past is grey
Am I backtracking or fast tracking If I say: I'm only focusing on what's gonna happen today

And what if I make it?
And nobody's thinking?
They're too busy drinking
To make a decision

Time flies by when you have fun
And the time seems dry when you have none
So I try to be content where I am
Even though it seems like nobody understands when ya

Become an adult so fast!
Nothing ever lasts!
Looking back on the past!
Missing going to class!
Reminiscing about all the visions that we had!
Living that, was the mission without having any cash!

Looking back on my high school yearbook
Can't believe how long all of those years took
But I wouldn't change a thing for a minute
I would do anything to go back and relive it

And what if I make it?
And nobody's thinking?
They're too busy drinking
To make a decision

And what if I make it?
And nobody's thinking?
They're too busy drinking
To make a decision
