Questions

This space between us grows.
Like flowers in the spring.
And when the night falls down, it ascends over me.

Here's to being young, stupid, and full of life.
And when I close my eyes, I see your face imprinted in the clouds.
And suddenly, I'm filled with questions that wont ever be answered.

And this is how the sky came crashing.
For the past eight months, and I'm still counting.

Something is grabbing me, and taking me under.
These ocean waves are restless, and I can't feed their hunger.

So let me drown here all alone.
Just let this be, and just leave me be.

And I just can't resist these things you kept from me.
I have myself, and no one else.

And when I close my eyes, I see your face imprinted in the clouds.
And suddenly, I'm filled with questions that wont ever be answered.

And suddenly, I'm filled with the realization that all this meant nothing at all.
