Pain's Rainbow

Life melts like sugar in the sun
Puddles of what was once love
Hate's in bloom across black fields
Harvesting truth that isn't real
It pins the wings of time that flies
Dissecting memories with lies
Nothing's perfect to it's core
Stars are hole in heaven's floor

Under the sea of lovely minds
Peace seems to float through space and time
Screaming clouds cry tears of joy
Over all of God's flesh covered toys
Aware of memories from now
Angry angels storm the crowd
They yell "Answer this to win the game!"
"Are you the conductor or the train?"

A very quiet war within the sacred doors of Pain's Rainbow
A place to find a friend within your weary head in Pain's Rainbow
