Wild Atlantic Way

Rossbeg, Narin and Portnoo
From a sand-dune, I tumble down to you
Look all around, the beaches and the surf
This could be, the most beautiful place on earth
Walkin' by the seaside, feel sand between our toes
Tide sweeps in, tickles with it's cold
Give thanks to the ocean, feeling utterly at peace
Heading back over sand dunes, from our favourite secret beach

This mysterious sea shell, one that you just found
Your exotic glass fragment, the sea has smoothed it round
A perfect pebble, grey, marbled white
Wonderful treasures, all offered up by the tide

Rossbeg, Narin and Portnoo
From a sand-dune, I tumble down to you
Look all around, the beaches and the surf
This could be, the most beautiful place on earth

Donegal, Ireland, Wild Atlantic way
Warm Sunshine, turns to stormy grey
White horses crashing, on a rocky shore
Spray rising and splashing, making our hearts soar

The Great Atlantic Ocean, blue, green and white
As light of the day, fades away to night
The sky transformed, purple, orange, red
Cast a wish to the ocean, these days should never end
Rossbeg, Narin and Portnoo
Every time I come here, my love has been renewed
Look all around, beaches and the surf
This could be, the most beautiful place on earth
