Gather 'round children and let me tell you a tale:
A story of music, money, magic, and whales
Greed, corruption, love, and hate
Winners losers, chance, and fate
Treacherous villains, valiant heroes, bona fide musicians, commas and zeroes
Potions, oceans, lotions, and emotions
At the center of the commotion was an unlikely trio
It was a gorgeous day in Santa Cruz, California
The sky was blue, the grass was green, the birds were chirping, the sun was shining, the bass was shlapping, the Dogs were fucking, the weed was being did, the beats were banging, the kids were slacking, the money was raining
A little boy said hello to the mailman:
"Hello, Mr. Mailman!"
"Hello, Billy. Take this package to your father, would you?"
"Sure thing, Mr. Mailman! Beautiful weather we're having today, isn't it?"
"It sure is a lovely day, a wonderful day to be outside, delivering mail to the members of this delightful community."
"And a wonderful day for school to be canceled!"
"You have a good one, Billy."
"You too, Mr. Mailman!"
And so Billy and the mailman went back to what they were doing
But neither was aware that nearby, in their very neighborhood, the yuckest filth imaginable was about to drop:
A mixtape so utterly good that it would change the world and the rap game forever
"What is that?"
A story of music, money, magic, and whales
Greed, corruption, love, and hate
Winners losers, chance, and fate
Treacherous villains, valiant heroes, bona fide musicians, commas and zeroes
Potions, oceans, lotions, and emotions
