Perfect Holiday

Tangerines' peel on the bedside table
The smell of it brings us joy
One more Christmas morning in this bedroom
Where we dance around in fuzzy socks
We're going out to set the fireworks
Rainbow coloured small talks
With the snowflakes melting in our hands
We hope this fairytale never ends

We're about to watch Home Alone like we always do (always do)
Wrap our presents to unpack them later (later)
Taking lovely Christmas photographs with you
It's a tradition every celebration

But we're in different cities now
And it's not the same somehow
But I know that everything will change
We will celebrate again
Like we did before, my friend
And will have our perfect holiday

Small room with sparkling lights on the walls
Christmas tree is bright as usual
Wrapping presents doesn't feel as warm
Magic turned into illusion

Now we can't watch Home Alone like we did together (did together)
No one to be laughing with tonight (tonight)
And our Christmas photograph will remind forever
About you, my friend, and our Christmas times

But we're in different cities now
And it's not the same somehow
But I know that everything will change
We will celebrate again
Like we did before, my friend
And will have our perfect holiday

But we're in different cities now (different cities)
And it's not the same somehow (not the same)
But I know that everything has changed (everything has changed)
We are celebrating now (yeah, we do)
Like we did some years ago (my friend)
And we have our perfect holiday
