Doomsday Economics

Frozen in caterwaul, dusting and shaking into waterfalls of carbon all along
Interstate-Infinity, their faces don't effect our affinity for falling in love

Taking photographs for photograph's sake, we have to document this nothingness
To keep ourselves awake
We finger autographs into ashes, we have to feel actual and observable
To prove to ourselves that we still exist
But oh, how we miss the Television's white-noise hiss

Snow, white snow
Fall white snow

Time is our last asset, it's all we have left to lose
We turn over the hourglass, see how long we last, see how long we can pull though

Sand, white sand
Fall white sand
Ash-stained hand, take my hand

Put on your bathing suit, let down your hair and wave it like you don't care.
We know the ocean will freeze our legs but we are gonna swim anyway

We don't care
