Message to the Devil

If you're alone
Come haunt my dread
Feels like your demons are already comfortable messing with my head
And I can't go home
Never made that base
Things I would do if I could cross the fire and get out of this place

Feel like it's been to long
Feel like an old soul
And it's time to let go
Guess the devil had other plans for me

See your demons
made a home right my my mind to
Piece by piece they tear it all apart
I've lost what mine
And I can't find hope like a trail and error of tries
Just gotta turn myself
To the other side

I wrote a message to the devil
So I knew that he was there
He was the shadow in the summer
The winter wind in my hair
I knew that he received my message
When I called, he was there
Holding on to my mind my life and my prayer
Although praying is for god
He made sure that I knew
If i worshiped what he frowned
Then he wouldn't come through
So I throw away my bible and "oh my God" too
So when you look my way
The devils looking back at you

If you're alone
Come haunt my dread
Knowing your demons are up in my mind already fucking with my head
And I can't go home
Never made that base
Things I would do if I could cross the fire and get out of this place
