As i look back at my life, an all the stuff i done been through
All these different problems that was thrown at me but i bounced back like im bulletproof
Now im walkin' 'round wit' a koolaid smile, an they askin' me why im steady grinnin'
I tell 'em that the devil thought he had me, but by God graces i am now winnin'

I remember times i was stressed out, remember days of feelin' hurt and pain
Remember days sheddin' lots of tears, i dont cry much but i was goin' insane
Remember times of bein' let down, all these crazy thoughts in my head at night
I remember God whispered in my ear that everything was gon' be alright

So i bossed up and got myself together, since then, been feelin' brand new
Strictly focused on these checks comin', im grindin' for it, its comin' through
Shoppin' sprees, im blowin' bags, relaxin' up in hotel rooms
