Story Time

Let me tell you a story about a girl and boy
He acted real smooth
And she acted real coy
Between the flour
And hours of work
She's tall with power
Like a flower in dirt
A Skirt skirt
And black shirt
Looking good his heart hurt
They talked first
And laughing
Them pearly whites a flashing
Yea dates next
She's the best
And she agreed
He passed her test
To the movies
And theatres
And restaurants
He would feed her
Until the day he won her over
The first day that he was sober
Cause this boy he was a junkie
Addicted to drugs power and money
It's not that funny
He's been struggling all his life
Since his father lost his wife
He'd get drunk and he would beat her
He would yell and he'd mistreat her
The boy he felt real small
He didn't matter at all
A poor home now all alone
Cause his dads glued to his phone
He wanted to be more legitimate
To get himself out of that predicament
Starting selling drugs one night
On this block without a light
It wasn't right

Making money gaining power
His ego growing by the hour
Did some drugs his life turned sour
Tip turning and brawling
Into darkness he was falling
It felt like eternity
Death was eminent and certainly close at hand
He bought some rope and made a plan
He couldn't cope
He wasn't fine
Decided one last day then it was time
Got up and brushed his teeth
He put some socks up on his feet
His hat upon his head
In 12 hours he'd be dead
At least he thought
In the kitchen it was hot
But his soul was cold
His fate he thought was sold
Until that girl came in the room
And then his heart it went boom boom
Real soon
Their eyes locked green
Her eyes they gleamed
He didn't know her and she didn't know him
It's at this point that their story begins
The boy didn't take his life
He made a plan to turn this girl to a wife
And it went like that that a life was saved
Cause a person was nice yea with the love they gave
