Gone Then Back Again

Old, broken, and faded, you're less concentrated
A self prescribed demise of deluded confusion
And you've seen better days
As you look back through the maze

But when the sun hits the soil you're still smiling
Despite all of you turbulent writhing
Then as fast as you came
You go away

Bent all out of shape from sharing your space and your flame
With all these half-wits and hypocrites that clutter up your days
But I stand amazing and I've been proven wrong for far too long
So here you'll find my open arms
From now until the day you're gone

Although the bell they don't ring out for you
You come back to show that you know what to do
Then as fast as you came
You go away

It rolls by undefined in my mind
But did you have to almost go insane
Just to survive you're day to day
And now do you have everything you wanted
Are you invincible
Or do you live to fight again another day
