I was young, a deep breath filled my lungs
Deep thoughts on the man i'd become
Is it the action or the intent that will travel through time when it's all said and done?
These thoughts battled through my mind, and haunted my rest

It was easy to get, the nice rhymes memorised
Still recall some I wrote when I was ten or nine
Funny how words can remain in my head
But the words that I said

If you looked around it seemed well till you shuddered from the cold as soon as rain fell
