Yesterday's Coffee

I've got yesterday's coffee
Still sat on the bench
I can't seem to get rid of it as I
Try to make sense of the wasteland that's my body
Where he lay his fingertips
And I let him
Though he scared me
Despite all of it

Isn't that what
My body's for?
To make you less mad
Maybe then I won't shudder at the slight twitch of your hand

You're a coursing river
I'm the wind controlling your mood
So I'll be just a body
If that's what I'm supposed to do

Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Da doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Da doo doo doo doo doo doo
Ah, ah

Just like yesterday's coffee
I have grown cold
So I guess I'll just sit here
Until I grow older
And wiser, then maybe
I'll see things in a better way
They told me I was strong but I can't picture that as I replay
The moment, you made me
Question my worth
As to you I was a body
And something you could hurt
So like yesterday's coffee
You'll forget about me
As I sit growing colder just reliving
It all
