Poème Parisien

You try to push away
Whatever makes your live escalate
Whatever comes
You make the best of it
But your behaviour now
I have shared everything with you
It's not myself my life is dedicated to
And it breaks me if you turn around
Without reaction even if it's getting loud

I saw through the crack in the bathroom door
You were rehearsing you smile in the mirror
The fragrance you use is not my favourite one
Do as you would be done!

Now you're out to drink champagne
And I stay here ask myself what I need to change
I close the black velvet curtains
And paint my walls black
Until nothing more reflects

It's like being lost in space like a satellite
Drifting out into the deep black starry night
No idea where it brings me to
Only that it is far from you

I picked the sun out of the blue
Now I have no idea where who to give it to
The story ends before its happy end
No really, we can't be friends
We can't be friends
