Grass Patch

Sometimes I can't find the words
Oh well its fine, I'll sit and observe
All the while, my focus is inward
Spiral of thoughts, makes knots of my innards

I'll run from the thoughts which I think and I get caught up in
I stumble and fall, hit a mental wall and I'm caught again

Like a dog, it walks me in circles
Try to circumvent circumscribed troubles
Bring me back... back to some good year
So far back, for nothing feels new here

I'll run from the thoughts which I think and I get caught up in
I stumble and fall, hit a mental wall and I'm caught again
My circular path, my patch in the grass, where does it end, and begin
When the day is done, I guess the lesson is learned
When nothings lost and nothing is earned
