You can't imagine the waves
When they come crashing down on you
When you least expect it
Your life is twisted upside down

Your friends and family are there
Support you through the times when you're not
Not knowing when you come out of it
Will you even be the same

I swear I saw a life that I thought was in existence
I know now that I was placed in a world with such resistance
I wanted so bad to believe that there were answers
Right there in front of me

You'll sleep so much that you're just like sleeping beauty
Get up and walk around some then go and lie back down
In time you may just feel you're not doing any better
In more time you may just feel you are a little better

I know it seems as though you'll never be back on your feet yeah
You know there has to be a way somehow to achieve this

In the end you will come to find that your life was meant to shine
Shed light on those who go through hell and back but were meant to
Grow far into the atmosphere where everything is clear
Your life's now filled with joy, you're angelic while you float on the air
