I Can Fly

Skeleton sketches and flowers
I am on automatic and lost on a canvas
All I draw is from tomorrow
I feel hot as I'm non-porous, wet as a rain forest

I can fly with my arms reaching up in the air
I don't need wings to take me I'm already there

I taste the sweat that's in my hands
I am never secluded, not always included
But I don't feel too much tension, if I get too ecstatic, I snap like elastic

I can fly with my arms reaching up in the air
I don't need wings to take me I'm already there

I don't know nothing but deserts
I have counted the sand grains and sorted the colors
I cannot waste what's been given
I can't take it for granted and throw it to the wind

I can fly with my arms reaching up in the air
I don't need wings to take me I'm already there
