Man#1 Man you know money is the root of all evil
Man#2 What is that even suppose to mean?
So what I'm not suppose to have any money now

It's funny how the people with the money don't make changes

I've never seen a dollar bill ever kill some people
Everybody's struggling to make ends meet
I thought that nature made enough for everyone to eat

I was looking at the currency - "In God We Trust"
Was on the note - but currently can't find a bill for justice
But it is just us - the people that's suffering
With the power in our hands and then we give it to the government
Can you lend me your ear - was it really your interest
To pay or get a loan just to learn from a system
That was so highly credited - it took all your debit
And then it, gave you a piece of paper - now you regretting it
And it's systematically designed to flaw you
You can have a dream - but living one will surely cost you
Never tell a man what to do - and I sure won't start to
Just trying to get you to see what's it's like when a boss moves

So taxes - I know you like to get paid
But just look at it backwards
Why would you work all year, just to get your money after
A few individuals use your income
To make a couple million and you don't even see one penny
If anything, just start your own businesses
Live your life through your company - write it off as quarterly expenses
It's senseless - not to use the defenses
That they use and abuse to keep you trapped like a victim
But if you're gonna swim with sharks - you gotta be smart
Don't let the decisions for you business come close to your heart
Cause there's a lot of backstabbers, check grabbers, and purse snatchers
Niggas that'll smile in your face - trip you - then laugh at you
