Hot Air Balloon

Couple hundred feet above the earth,
the high was never high enough for you.
Were the clouds calling down,
tough to discern. Was the ground taking gravity from you?
The setting sun sets fire to your sky
and the starlight begs you to transform.
No time left to run only to fly,
let the winds carry you above the storm.
So you grab your torch and you light it and you point it at the moon.
When this life looks a little less than inviting,
run away in your hot air balloon, in your hot air balloon.
In your hot air balloon.
Your colors will shine brighter in the sun,
with the lack of love their luster will not last.
As the fabrics fray and ribbons come undone,
your time is here my dear you're falling fast.
So you grab your torch and you light it and you point it at the moon.
When this life looks a little less than inviting,
run away in your hot air balloon, in your hot air balloon.
In your hot air balloon.
So you touch down just for a moment,
just to feel what it's like on the ground.
But you're scared because you no longer
know it, no it's not where you are from.
You grab your torch and you light it and you point it at the moon.
When this life looks a little less than inviting,
run away in your hot air balloon, in your hot air balloon.
In your hot air balloon.
