Lost in the wild, I had to figure things out
So many wrongs and too much doubt
It's been so song since my face wore a smile
Too far along, too many a mile
Ever more lost, even time of the day

The warmth of your home at first was relief

As the fate to unfold became unbearably clear

Casting your spell became a battle of wills

Shadows moved in rhyme
With enchantment strong and fierce
It forced me to my knees
Another soul to pierce

Finding the path I needed to take
A chance at last, I had to make my break
But she clutched and she clawed

Voices called again
