Seems like God took all the Yes's he was gonna do for Daddy and put it all into you
You're everything I ever wanted to be a part of and you're not even two
And even though often we are apart
I hope you know that daddy's never stopped thinking of you
And planning everything were gonna do
Cause seeing you a few hours a week just doesn't do
But its better than nothing thats a hell I've been through
When Daddy withdrew it wasn't because he wanted to
And there are so many mistakes that lead to that I wish I could undo
But we made it through what few do, only those that have to
And we've been havin so much fun too
At the pumpkin patch you looked so cute in your jack jack costume
I was so blue thinking I would miss that with you
That I thought about signing up to be on the grounds crew
Just to get a view
See cuz being a Father a lot of daddys dont really want to
Just sad but true
But your daddy wanted you and
Knew exactly what he was trying to do
And he wanted to marry your momma too
But sometimes things don't workout how you plan them to
But you play the cards ya come into
I promise ill get as much time with you
As I can get the court to agree to
And I'll pay the child support we agreed to
Ill never try to take more than half your time cuz you need your mommy too
But seeing you just a few hours a week will never do
Ive may have been stripped from you from 1-2
