Im an American Man
Just put nails through my hands
And crucify me today
Just like my maker never ran
The thing that runs is my head
Journalists say today, because Im white I deserve to be dead
And they aren't playin cuz you can tell they really meant what they said
Like Sara Jeong thinks you can erase her word bullets like lead
But your bullet points, point bullets & people believe whats fed
Dont cower and try to pretend noone ever read them
Apparently hate mongering today doesn't require a white hood
And riots today don't require setting fires in a black hood
But If you have a vaginal hood you can preech hate like lets just kill em good
Now that everyone has a voice in social media
Men are hunted with hate speared words like they should be
So how are we sposed to get to the America that we could be
A God fearing eclectic nation thats what our founders thought that we would be
And as I write this I feel like I'll probably get in trouble for this poem
Just thoughts I have while Youtube makes me feel hated in my own home
And if everyone in the media whos not white hates white men
And everyone that isn't a guy hates white men
It doesn't really leave us with a whole lotta options for friends
Maybe a few transgend
And growing up I can't remember anybody ever hating them
Ru Paul seemed to be universally accepted without a question
Seems we've forgotten some lesson
So white privilege and black lives matter continue to separate us
And we lose 60 yrs of growth
Seems like theyre trying to rally a new generation for votes
It coats the throats of the many and cuts into some
But the pain I feel just cant compare to the joy that is to come
So I'll stand for Jesus even when the tv and the media say I'm dumb
Cuz my Mom taught me that jesus doesn't just describe he is love
So, don't confuse false earthly freedom with rights that were given from above
Because we were told we have liberty but were just part of an evil captains manifest
Its time to be our best and put all these played out narratives to rest
Cuz the light is getting dim
The only freedom is in God
Its freely given by Him
Still the news continues to spill hate and fear like they can take it on a whim
But they won't take my freedom cuz like Jesus said my liberation is God given
