Trusting others costs too much
Are you blind cant you see
Never rely on anyone else
They have pushed you too far
Stabbed too much in the back
Play their game and play it well
Show them they error of their ways
They have your back to a corner
Grit your teeth and fight back

Your life is full of smoke and mirrors
That mask you wear is fitting
The more each day you follow
In that faded line
Seeking truth in your so-called life
Only to find that lies have turned you back
Discovering all of your bridges have been burned
With all ties lost and nowhere to go

Now at the end of this wretched tale
You have become calloused and numb
Cold to the world you've known
