Meristem

I'm eager to know what this looks like from the ground
With infinite suns and blinding recollections
I pull from the leader til the reel is unwound
Ably erasing augur-sown predilections

It is always odd to find that we were so entwined
A tap on the shoulder caught me unaware
And the edge of the meristem, lush as a diadem
In vexing vagaries and lean, liminal air

I've had reveries appear in riving moiety
Diaphanous veils that I did not commission
In eight-millimeter grain they quaver cruelly
The coronal rays are rilled in arcane reminiscences

The prow of our eventide conquers the inky sky
A rimy testament that nothing is fair
And the edge of the meristem summons a reasoned end
A barrel on the temple he won't spare
