It's hard to stay engaged
As of lately
What preoccupies my mind
Could be cleared to make some room
I'm not completely out of touch
But that can change if I'm not mindful of my pace
I just can't be swept away so easily

Turn my wants into needs
So I have to put in all my energy

Have my needs be met

By default and not be so pressed
I must commit this all to memory
So I could be a better me
And not be such a mess
