30 Years Old

Naive minds learn the most
Falling into hope
Like a sailor upon a boat

But minds become breakable
When emotion becomes valuable
All that is happy
Can be taken away
And that TV scene
Fades away

Back to darkness
Wondering what's next?
Where's this life headed?
Am I a mess?
Or just, a little distressed?
Retreat back
Reset the boundaries
Breathe
The storm always passes

As the door shuts
I crack the window
And jump

Daylight sweeps in
Like the wind on the street
Reclaiming the voice
Marching under my feet

They say those who wander
Are not lost
But I amend the fact
That all those who break
Are not broke

Ready to step into
New lights, new spirit, new part
10 years on a rollercoaster
And I'm back at the start

At 30 years old
I know who I am
Walking through life
Without a single plan
