We grew up quickly, me and my bro
Could remember when we thought that we'd never get old
Messing around laughing at the same old jokes
Fast forward 5 years later, look at how much we grown
Have some time to ourselves, maturing on our own
We don't talk as much, but you're on the straight and narrow
I must've took every damn fucking fork in the road
But I cant say that I'm not proud of you bro
I'm off in college wondering how you're doing back home
I know that things are a lot different than they were before
We adjust to change like it ain't a thing
Never bitched about shit man, never complained
