Forest Fires

Now that the smoke has cleared, change is set
They think it'd be nice to take a wandering flight
One won't be packing light, thinks they should stay
And they should stay, home for a couple more days
Maybe before they go, here's the thing...
They'll slip out the back again
Now only rain, water from a plane, can put out the flame

Fools led into war
Outlive the other
Can't get close they'll burn
Rest up and learn
Forest fires flow

Close to a game they knew
Turned light gold
And heaven was still a place they would go
And they will go like angels dressed in snow

Fools led into war
Outlive the other
Can't get close they'll burn
Rest up and learn
Forest fires flow

Then they'll remember when
They weren't two
The fires have burned the space they'd get old
They'll get old when one gets tired and folds
