Years go by and as I grow, I'm finding that a part of me
Is longing for a place to be, and grow roots like a phoenix tree
To use my hands, within the land, to take part in society
To understand how I can share my heart, spread my wings, flying free

Its where the wind blows free through the lush evergreens
And how the sun shines down as far as you can see
It's where you party hard from dusk till dawn
With your friends and family, the fun carries on

Whenever I'm lost, or lose control
One thing helps the skies turn clear
The red leaf always tells me, You're at home here

Working hard, to make my way, Pouring blood and sweat everyday
Walk through my door, touch the hardwood floor, watch my baby girl sit and play
Hold my wife close, my rare primrose, let her know I love her in every way
I can't see myself, being anywhere else, this home is my home to stay
