A Little Prayer

I'm saying a prayer.
For us all to live.
And deny us the darkness.
"Hay! yaw dig?"
We should love each other.
Not deny us peace.
Our governments down?
AWWW GEEZE!!!
When did dreams become, obsolete?
Why does pot make our dreams so sweet?
We doubt so much, and we hate so much.
And a lot of women fear a man's touch.
It's not their fault.
It's mostly the man.
For kicking those around like a soda can.
I pray to God to change the times.
To give us strength for he is divine.

You see the dealers and the shooting cops.
Not carefully aware that this has to stop.
We cut down the trees and pollute the zone.
Accidents happen, even at home.
We're all God's children.
But our souls are in question.
By rejecting our hope, were rejecting him.
You don't need a church to understand him.
For he is everywhere, Including within.
We don't care about it, or deny it.
We just treat each other with Disrespect.
We can be better.
Why do we wait?
Why not say a prayer to enter heaven's gate?
