To the Core

Warm wind has blown
It brought us tears, not joy
We all once have known
The past, far gone ahoy

No, it won't take too long
Till we can't go back no more
And even though our hearts stay strong
We are rotten to the core

Listen, old friend, listen
How nice the birds are singing
Their songs are full of sorrow
While our jolly lives start dimming
The spring wields mighty power
Turning world to it's origin
We can't pretend it's a surprise
Washing away all human beings

Who did permit this careless behaviour
Yet with destruction we carry on
There is nothing wrong with exploiting the nature
Till our loved Earth will turn to stone
