Artist's Impression

She painted pictures of me
With a tainted tone
As she saw me to be
I can only presume
A false impression
Or did she have lessons
Or perhaps that's how I am?
The artist's impression I don't understand

Mental thoughts without vision
A division – hence the expression
A distorted picture, a distorted picture,

Words of love, anger and hate
Like three different colours of paint
Mixed together in the mind
Makes true thoughts hard to find
Much knowledge has been obtained
But when filtered through the brain
There is various conclusions
Varying interpretations causing confusion

Am I misportrayed
When put on display
Is knowledge fact or false?
It's easy to misunderstand
Because some only know the whole story
