If you want to do something
Your wife don't want you to
Or you want to be
What your husband don't want for you
How about you both have a talk
Find out if it's not bad at all
Maybe you both will disagree
But in the end you should let each other be
Again, if it's not that terrible
You both are one, but that's metaphorical
And it takes common sense to realize
If what they do will truly jeopardize
But common sense is not that common
Fear of individuality creates the lies

For example if they want to drink
Do they need to care what you think
Does their head hit the living room floor
Can they not find the bathroom anymore
Are they overly loud or abusive
Do they get to driving really stupid
Have they not found their good buzz limit
Or do you impose so they fall in line with it

No one should control you
Or do they have your best interest
The major point is they need evidence
That it's for your best interest
As long as you give all to them
Why should they give a shit
If you still function as their other
No reason to act as father or mother

Do they want to audition for TV
Or read ugly poems at the library
Do they want to go to church
Or never again for eternity
Perhaps you could give some support
Do they need to change jobs to be happy
Or are you living with their money
As long as they find a way to keep course
