When I was a kid
I thought everyone had life figured out

Since banana seats and Betz

Counting years in half points, can't wait for the next choice
Gonna be a space man, flying through the thin air
Helping every lost pet, be the worlds best vet

Stay up thinking all night, still up at the first light
Only can the next day out do the fun of today
Showing off the new shoes when you get to school
Judging left for court rooms, watching for the new blooms
Organize the rocks found, free treasures abound
Someday it all gets blurry, overwhelmed with worry
It's harder to be happy, hard to be relaxing
Even more then ever, you need your people up close
Rather feel settled then buy a bunch of pedals
