Ice Cream

Sometimes I wish
I could fly far away
So I couldn't be here sitting
Next to me
While I sleep

And then I started thinking
How stupid that is

Sometimes I think
'Bout how my world works
And I end up crying
Waking neighbors up
Sun is up

And then I breathe deeply
'Cause we are alone

Is a dystopian world
My city-flavored ice cream cone
The feeling of eyes watching me
The future is on us

Maybe if
I break through the 4th wall
Then I could stop living
Like everyone else
Wants me so

But well then
Who am I being?
A human unknown

Is a dystopian world
My city-flavored ice cream cone
The feeling of eyes watching me
The future is on us

Sometimes I lay alone in my bed
Asking why I exist

Am I allowed to say what I feel
Is the right common sin?

And then, I stop thinking
