Trouble (feat. Woody)

I couldn't really recall the occasion
But I was in my own zone spacing
Jamming out until somebody adjacent
Started actin too wasted getting too close

I had to tell him, back up off me quick, before he caught him a dose
I proceeded to pour a drink and look around and
Saw my homies chilling on the far side lounging
Scoping out the scene watching people get down but

When I looked back, like that, I was surrounded
Damn, dropped the drink, didn't think, blood was bubbling up
I've been in troublesome spots, and this was nothing to bluff
To put it to you with some class I was deep in the rough

And I was swinging a lot, but I wasn't hitting it much
Just then homies rushed in, lights went down
Music turned off and people started running on out
I never saw 'em again, I bet it was all for the clout
Cuz still to this day I don't know what the shit was about

The city lights shining bright as I left the gym
Got a ways to walk plus its hot so I'm rushing it
Took a shortcut thru an alley, near the crib
But the moment I cut the corner I was like, "oh shit"

Three dudes looking thuggish
But in this PC world I'm trying not to judge them
Ha, that's mistake number 2
And I can't turn around now so I'm trying to play it cool

"You got a dollar bro?" Sorry man I don't
"Are you sure? Cause we could really use the money tho"
I know what that means
So I'm either bout to fight or take a flight from the scene

The dude got up in my face with his boys cold watching
"I think you're bullshitting now empty your pockets"
I pitched him wallet and made a dash for the crib
Ain't no cash the wallet so the joke was on him
