Wrinkle in Time

Wrinkle in time I see so many lessons
Poetic justice for the righteous intentions

What is right?
What is wrong?
Blissful nights staying home
In too deep
So far gone

What is love
What is fate
And why can't I just stay straight
These filthy games are overrated

Heard I'm cursed with poverty, illness and tragedy
No peace of mind
Running wild with ADHD
Snakes and ladders and monopoly

Don't you see
It's all a game
And when you play for keeps
You get a permanent stain
Now I'm worried about the rain

Rollin the dice I got so many questions
Journey to knowledge land got me a blessing
Wrinkle in time I see so many lessons
Poetic justice for the righteous intentions

Black box scoping out my every move
Strategizing all my pawns laying out the rules
I got family up in heaven can't afford to lose
Work the fields work the fields keep on picking fruit

I just wanna work my way back to you
I know you're waiting at the gates casual
Yeah I gotta keep my faith valuable

It's a wrinkle in time
Wrinkle in, wrinkle in, wrinkle in time
Poetic justice for the most of us
