Frank the Gambler, Pt. 1

Frank was born one bright summer night
His mother was a banker his father took flight
When Frank was young they said he wasn't bright
So he pulled a gun on them out of pure spite

Frank walked away from his home that day
He walked to the town over by the bay
That boy walked into the bar and said hey
He challenged them to cards and he sat down to play

Frank played cards until the sun rose
He took his winnings and slept in his clothes
For the next two weeks he kept playing those
Cards, and his winning never slowed

Frank left town a millionaire
He carried his money through the cold fall air
Back in town the losers gathered in the square
And they hatched a plan to get their
Money back

Now Frank is on the run
From a mob on the hunt
He had his fun
And now they want retribution

All his newfound wealth
Won't save him from himself
Any atonement will be too late
Will he be able to escape his fate?
