Karmic Garden (Redux)
Ha ha ha ha haa
Ha ha ha ha haa
My karmic garden
The seeds of soul started to grow a long time ago
Ready for the harvest to feed the life force
When the Universe is starving
Continues to prosper
Long after my soul's departed
Like, is it one life or the spirit eternal
Lives on through ink bled
For the lyrics in my journal
Take my time in the moment
Zone in and own it
No time to phone it in
And baby you can't clone it
Be one with my opponent
The rodents, rats and roaches
Irrigate the stream of life with this energy osmosis
Closest to the source, it's vortices of fortune
Signs of the divine as the apocalypse approaches
Vultures circle over head
Scorching the soil dead, the ground boils to a red
Glow like hot lead
But life manages to make it
Sick, starved, and naked
Wide awake in the wake of everything sacred
In my karmic garden
Ionic compounds bonded
Feedin' on the photons from which life started
In my karmic garden
Seeds sprout from ground hardened
By the footsteps left by the dearly departed
In my karmic garden
Aphids to martians
Micro to the macro the Universe started
In my karmic garden
The target on my heart is
In my karmic garden
That's where the Universe started
Trees taller than the rooftops
Bring your gloves and boots out
Weed through your crew
'Til the homies layin' roots down
'Til your homies layin' roots down
Quick to get crops? No I patiently wait
And cant get down with those who choose to cultivate hate
If you motivate great, then the garden it grows
But so many of us lost caught up in ego
People of the Mother Earth listen, hear me now
I think we really overanalyze what life's about
Overcome fear, learn to love, and seek joy
All work and no play make Johnny a dull boy
That's why we work hard and play hard
And give it all up to God
Here in the karmic garden
Uh huh uh huh
Uh huh uh huh
In my karmic garden
Ionic compounds bonded
Feedin' on the photons from which life started
In my karmic garden
Seeds sprout from ground hardened
By the footsteps left by the dearly departed
In my karmic garden
