For all the hardships that you go through.
For the sacrifices that you have made.
For the strong foundations that you have laid.
You go to a different state or place where there are few
True churches who preach and teach sound doctrine like we do.
God's word was in your heart as a burning fire
Shut up in your bones overwhelming your desire!
To be a Missionary to a lost and dying world
So many obstacles you have to unfurl.
You are a great, uplifting inspiration
Telling others about JESUS and Salvation!
Missionaries, we're so thankful for you,
For you give people The Blessed Hope and Peace to cling to!
The fields are white unto harvest!
Laborers are few!
But we have you
Fulfilling The Great Commission God called us to do!!!
You go to a foreign land
Where there are dangers on every hand!
You go there bravely
And take your stand!
Even though you could be killed, you obey God's command!
Leaving some of your family and friends behind
To go preach the word of God in a different zone of time.
Learning a new language in a foreign country
Takes a lot of dedication and hours of study.
And we know that you desire our prayers
So that you can make a difference
In many lives while you are there!!!
