Drown Me

Welcome to my Vices

I've been in and out my head trying to figure out how I should write this
I'm so indecisive,
Guess thats all apart of being in your 20's figuring what life is
Why you paranoid
You too anxious to be that excited
You don't like crowds and you're often invited
You a homebody but hate all the silence

It doesn't make sense but its all in the writing
Your darkest times could always use lighting
You're cut from a cloth and that cant be divided

They used to say
When you make it, don't you forget about me
The same faces would always try to doubt me
Wonder why my circles small, got no one around me
The waters too shallow and they're still trying to drown me

In my dreams, but is it really seems
The money, power, and a check,
All the jewels around your neck
Vices killing everything, Were like puppets on a string
Cheating trying to get ahead but we don't wait we move instead

They used to say
When you make it, don't you forget about me
The same faces would always try to doubt me
Wonder why my circles small, got no one around me
The waters too shallow and they're still trying to drown me
