Story Time, Pt. 2
A man at a bar
He played guitar
He drank hard
Then he died
His funeral service was long and boring
My aunt made me go
I was only 7 so I didn't understand the concept of death
I was just a happy boy
My aunt would take me to Central Park on Saturdays and I'd just dance around
It was peaceful
Happy boys. And happy girls
Time and Time again
The story is told
And this one of those
I was in the park with my aunt dancing around!
Frolicking!
I started skipping so fast that my legs were bloated with blood
I zoomed around the park and went faster and faster. FASTER AND FASTER
And then I saw a girl who was one year older than me, 8 years old
I stopped in my tracks
She looked happy too
And then time sped by. I forgot it existed. It left me, and her, alone
And now we're together, without time
He played guitar
He drank hard
Then he died
His funeral service was long and boring
My aunt made me go
I was only 7 so I didn't understand the concept of death
I was just a happy boy
My aunt would take me to Central Park on Saturdays and I'd just dance around
It was peaceful
Happy boys. And happy girls
Time and Time again
The story is told
And this one of those
I was in the park with my aunt dancing around!
Frolicking!
I started skipping so fast that my legs were bloated with blood
I zoomed around the park and went faster and faster. FASTER AND FASTER
And then I saw a girl who was one year older than me, 8 years old
I stopped in my tracks
She looked happy too
And then time sped by. I forgot it existed. It left me, and her, alone
And now we're together, without time
