I woke up this morning, I was lying on the floor
And I thought to myself "I just can't take this any more"
This life that I'm living, I'd be better off dead
That's when I heard a small Voice in my head
It said

At the foot of the cross, the foot of the cross
Salvation, redemption, a new life this is what it will cost
Bring all your troubles and treasures and count, count them as loss

I rolled myself over and as far as I could see
There was no one around, nobody sitting there next to me
This must be the end, I must be coming undone
That's when the voice laughed and said "No, it's only just begun"

Introspection, reflection and prayer finally made me right
