Alone (Is) Remastered (Remastered)
One year ago today
I was writing down things to say
Fighting wrongs from other days
And the ways that they made me gaze
At the craze of January flames
Stranger than life
But the life at JTF was what caused me to write
My song Alone
The job I wanted was to put into song
All of the feelings fleeting, fire in me scorching me strong
The song was long
Four minutes even
Down to grave
But there's no existential peace exuding out of the grave
(Sighing)
Now all I want is for the memory to fade
(Sinking)
The distant fire in me fading to grey
(Down)
I don't like that song, I know why that song
(Into my grave)
Shot down, got frowned upon, now I know that songs remastered
You get it right, I said the songs remastered
I don't wanna rhyme, because it's just remastered
Alone wasn't good and I needed remastered
As in I needed to get better, you know, remastered
I had to re-master all that needed remastered
Master the songwriting process for the remastered
Finished product, and I didn't do that
So hope I'm not late for the remastered
It was the after days
I was thinking of all the ways
I could've updated it, claiming it was the greatest display
Of the new Spire Studio, it blew my mood, we know that
Levels in the volume were not in the best of shape
'Cause in the bridge, "seeing hearing you pulling me down down down"
Volume down down down
Reverb back around
Track begins breakdown
Tracks begin to drift down
Syncopation canopy carefully falling to the ground
(Waiting)
Now all I want is for the memory to fade
(Weeping)
The distant fire in me fading to grey
(Silent)
I don't like that song, I know why that song
(To the mind)
Shot down, got frowned upon, now I know that songs remastered
Sighing, sinking
Down into my grave
The existential
Oh my god, I hate it
Remastered
I know you get it, the song's remastered
Don't wanna rhyme, 'cause it's just remastered
Alone wasn't good, and I needed remastered
I got better, you know, remastered
I had to re-master all that needed remastered
The song process for the remastered
Product, and I didn't do that
So hope I'm not late for the remastered
(Well you took my heart)
(And you stomped it)
(To the floor)
Remaster, master, master, master, mast-
Remastered
(I'm sorry about Alone)
(Ohh)
