The Party Scene Is Kinda Mean

Let us pray

I approach every party knowing how it will go over
Always on the outside because I'm always sober
But decisions I make won't be a barrier for myself
Why do I still feel isolated when surrounded by artists?
I guess my experience will be consistent regardless
I have no choice but to continue as is, oh well

Shouldn't the non-conformists all be the same?
Shouldn't this be a house of mirrors; shouldn't I be okay?
Shouldn't the non-conformists all be the same?
Shouldn't this be a house of mirrors; shouldn't I be okay?

I suppose isolation's a personality trait
A temperamental component I've grown to love and hate
A foot on each end of the introvert-extrovert spectrum
I can't quite justify why I make all my decisions
But I feel right in how I choose from what I'm given
Even I can't articulate quite who I've become

Shouldn't the non-conformists all be the same?
Shouldn't this be a house of mirrors; shouldn't I be okay?
Shouldn't the non-conformists all be the same?
Shouldn't this be a house of mirrors; shouldn't I be okay?

Shouldn't the non-conformists all be the same?
Shouldn't this be a house of mirrors; shouldn't I be okay?
Shouldn't the non-conformists all be the same?
Shouldn't this be a house of mirrors; shouldn't I be okay?
