I went up, I went down the stairs
I took a picture and placed it on a chair
Went to the mirror and checked my hair
There was something in my eye, something in my eye

I took the kettle and put it on
I flipped some pages and waited for its song
And from the windows the shadows getting long

Turn on the lights

Open the drawers

Dragged the carpet along the floor
I forgot my keys inside the door
Bought a paper from the corner store

The purple sky was getting dark
I sat down on a bench outside the park
Took out the special section on the arts
