Summer Plays

Summer dreams
Here we go again
I'm gonna make you mine someday
But I don't know when

Through your eyes
I could see the lights
Shining like a billion stars
On a summer night

A nonchalance was just an alibi
For my heart

So let's this reshape this prowl
Then we'll fly away
We'll leave the dark behind
For another day

I'll meet you in the half light
Of the haze
I'm the one that drew the sun
As the summer played

Monday morning
I don't know why
You got to come around again
You know it's getting tired

All these films they just
Make me feel
I'm living in a home alone
And nothing's real

Coincidence is just a mess we made
Of our dreams

So let's rebuild this ship
And we'll fly away
And leave the heartbreak here
For another day

I'll meet you in the twilight
In the haze
As we watch the sun go down
On our summer plays
