Guess I was crazy for thinking it'd work out
Halfway across the world together
Only after about 8 months of being an item
It was a precious commodity though
In the beginning I came at it so
Hard, like how I body flows
Over instrumentals
Then reality hit me
My history isn't spiffy
It's filled with broken hearts and burnt bridges
At times I wonder how long I'll live this way
It's just that one day I don't want to say
I didn't take advantage of my life now
You don't know how I can be so selfish
I don't know either, sometimes I feel helpless
Every time a chapter ends bad
I swear I'll never find love
My story will end with caskets, roses, and no one beside me
I know we talked about building an army of successful kids
To be better than we are now
But metaphorically speaking
Our relationship is shot
We tensed up with the pressure of heat
Morphed into rocks

That one may go over ya'll head for a second
But this one here's for you
It's a shame we had to go through this shit
In order for me to finally make some shit for you
But
Everything happens in its time
And what better time than now
I just hope you're listening

You know damn well I'm not perfect
26 tryna find my purpose
Of course it, doesn't justify my wrongs
You're hurting
I feel it
I felt it even more when you balled your fists up
Made a brother wake up
And say, "man no more hiccups"
Damn, I never felt it like THAT
Now you got me looking back
Tryna retrack my steps for future reference
In fact
I'm gonna do better and show this generation
We can manipulate weather
Whether you believe it or not
It's true
The storm is inevitable
But it all depends on you
And your actions
How it turns out
If you're not ready just pace yourself
So she's not wasting herself
On possibilities
That can be possibly broken
As of now
I'm just hoping the universe gives mercy
For my decisions
Keep looking for strength
As I keep hold of my vision
And spread love with no limit
