We're Getting Older

Why do I always feel so indecisive
Is it a mental break or quarter-life crisis
Are we just learning this is how we deal with it
I'm getting older but it's not hard to admit

Trust me I won't disagree
I'm closing in on thirty
Not young and reckless
But I'm young, depressed, and doing ok
My bank accounts depleting
Threw out my back today
Not sure it will get better
But I guess I'll find a way

We're getting older but we don't need to grow up
Wasting every minute with the people we love
We'll just sit back and let our time expire
While everyone else catches the world on fire

I always feel like I'm the one whos left out
It's fine I'm busy dealing with my self doubt
So sick and tire of trying to fit the role
We're just gonna live out our day
The best way that we know

Trust me I won't disagree
I'm closing in on thirty
Not young and reckless
But I'm young, depressed, and doing ok
My bank accounts depleting
Threw out my back today
Not sure it will get better
But I guess I'll find a way

We're getting older but we don't need to grow up
Wasting every minute with the people we love
We'll just sit back and let our time expire
While everyone else catches the world on fire

We're getting older but we don't need to grow up
Wasting every minute with the people we love
We'll just sit back and let our time expire
While everyone else catches the world on fire
We're getting older but we don't need to grow up
Wasting every minute with the people we love
We'll just sit back and let our time expire
While everyone else catches the world on fire
