Time
Ayo 4theworld wake up
Get on that chase, man
Get on that chase
Think I need you but I don't
I got plenty on my own
I've been doing lots of clean up in the mind inside my home
So please don't mind what's underneath the bed
Or hanging from the door
Skeleton and elephants
I did not know I had before
It takes time to clean it up
It takes time time
Takes some time to clean it up
It takes time
Takes some time to clean it up
It takes time time
Takes some time time
It takes time yeah
I was a kid
Came in December when I was just 6
Rocking my dad's jacket on his shoulders
So we could reach higher
And that's what I did
That's what I did
Auntie & family were at the airport to help with our things
They asked me "How is your english so good?"
I told my cousin "I learned on the plane"
And she believed me
I was cheeky kid
My parents told me that back home
Folks would come over just to hear me speak, they said
I didn't peep the gift
Busy growing up, had to adjust
Look at my skin, find out who I was
Adversity surely was slowly just pulling me out like a diamond out of the rough
It took some time
I fell in love
First with the poetry
Words had a hold of me
Then with this girl collecting donations at her little station for Unicef- noticed me
Walking through campus, she said "Hello" to me
I said "Hello"
I caught her smile, I found some change
I got her name, added on facebook very next day
Back to the first, I started writing
Whole world opened up and I was invited
I was excited, to say the least
I had my words, I had my beats
Hoping they heard, the ears of the streets
Folks on the curb, they hear what they need
Most of my words took time to believe
Guess everything big starts from a seed (Yeah)
Think I need you but I don't
I got plenty on my own
I've been doing lots of clean up in the mind inside my home
So please don't mind what's undernearth the bed
Or hanging from the door

It takes time to clean it up
It takes time time
Takes some time to clean it up
It takes time
Takes some time to clean it up
It takes time time
Takes some time time
It takes time yeah
Takes some to time to clean it up
Takes some time time
Takes some time to clean it up
Time
Takes some time to clean it up
Time time
Takes some time to clean it up (Time time yeah)
